Before building your storefront

Storefront is the offering for building and operating websites and apps. Studio is the horizontal platform for connecting context, organizing work, and building MCP Apps. The Site Editor is one of those apps, used to manage storefront content.

Blocks connects typed inputs in code to content and configuration versioned in your repository. The framework resolves that data for your website implementation to render; the Site Editor gives people a visual interface for working with it.

You choose the implementation and integrations you need. Blocks has integrations for platforms including Shopify, VTEX, and Wake; the templates and docs show how to connect your project.

Changes live on a working branch. The Site Editor can open a pull request for review or publish through its merge workflow. Your project's deployment integration delivers the approved content. Review diffs, validation, and previews before publication.

Blocks and Studio are open source. You keep your website code and content in your Git repository. Managed hosting, support, and operation services have their own plans and scopes.
